The Whip

One thing that makes Gery L. Deer one of the most unique individuals ever to speak in an auditorium is how he combines many of his talents and interest to get his message across.

Since the age of 12, Gery has been what is now becoming known as a "Whip Artist," someone who uses a bullwhip for performance art or sport. Over the last two decades Gery has earned several international whip speed and accuracy titles, two pending world records, and appearances in countless stage and variety shows and on national television programs like NBC's America's Got Talent.

Gery often brings his whip on stage during speaking engagements and his work in the entertainment and sport of whip artistry provides unique material for his marketing and business presentations. He has been successful at self-marketing his whip artistry presentations all over the United States and uses the knowledge he has gained in that work to help those who have a non-traditional occupation.

Gery offers the whip exhibitions as a presentation separately, and includes his whip and experiences into his other presentations. You will never see anything else like this. (Pictured below: Gery L. Deer appearing on America's Got Talent in 2006.)

Here are two stories done by local network TV affiliates WKRC in Cincinnati (left) and WDTN in Dayton.
