GREEN BUSINESS INFORMATION

One of the “greenest” business models operating today.

GLD Enterprises Commercial Writing is a ‘green’ company. We have found that by reducing our consumption of resources of all types, we are able to keep operating costs lower. Those savings are passed along to the clients in the form of lower fees and expenses.

We operate from one small office, where 85-percent of our work is done, located adjacent to the owner’s home.

The majority of our documents, invoices and other correspondence are done electronically. As a result, less than two reams of paper are consumed each month with a minimal use of printer ink and toner.

Recycling measures are in place for paper, aluminum, expired printer cartridges and plastics.

Minimal impact on fossil fuel consumption.

Most of our interpersonal communication is done by phone or email, so use of the company vehicle is minimal. When travel is needed, we do our best to keep fuel use and expense low by creating a round-trip itinerary, attending as many meetings in a single day as possible. When we need to meet with clients out of town, we fly into the nearest airport and room at hotels close the client’s office or other needed facilities.
